Sometimes it’s really nice for a solo performer to bring some friends on the road.
I’m proud to be able to present not only one but two great back-up bands with totally
different styles.
Meet:
The Soul Bastards
The Soul Bastards has very little to do with your average traditional blues band.
And that’s the way I like it. These gents provide the perfect back-up for my own songs
and I just couldn’t imagine a better band. They travel the whole way from that low down
dirty North Mississippi Hill stomp to the sonic rage of an industrial punk band and got
just as much in common with T-Model Ford & R.L. Burnside as with Tom Waits and Nick Cave.
Niels Nielsen – Guitars, percussion & more
Nicklas Brännström – Bass
Krister Persson – Drums
Gustav Pettersson - Drums
Sick'n Blues
Every now and then I get the urge to go out there and play jumping R&B and Chicago Blues.
Since early 2008 I’ve cooperated with this highly skilled traditional blues band.
They’ve been spreading their blues message all over Scandinavia since 1994 but the
experience in this band go way back to the 70’s. An evening with this band guarantees
music by Muddy, Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Liggins as well as original material. Hell, I even
blow some harp just for the fun of it!
Lasse Roselius – Guitar & Vocals
Mats Andersson – Bass
Göran Hanning – Piano & Organ
Göran Persson - Drums
